Kiri is a Provisional Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families across education and community settings. She holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Aboriginal Studies, and is currently completing her Clinical Masters in Psychology.
Kiri has worked across childcare and public school settings, including operating her own childcare centres and implementing sustainability-based programs supporting children’s development, resilience, and connection to self and family, and brings a strong developmental psychology perspective to her work.
Kiri works with children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, adjustment and behavioural difficulties. She also has training in working with presentations including ADHD, conduct-related concerns, OCD, mood disorders and substance use (Motivational Interviewing).
She is committed to evidence-based practice and primarily utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), including advanced CBT approaches, and incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based strategies where appropriate.
Kiri is also trained in psychometric assessment, including WISC, WAIS, WIAT, and ADHD assessment processes.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-focused, with an emphasis on practical skill development and values-based change.
